She鈥檚 done it again! Btomorrow Ventures Managing Director, Lisa Smith, has again been recognised in the Global Corporate Venturing (GCV) Powerlist 2022.
Lisa was named in the GCV 150 list for a second year running 鈥 this year making the top 50 鈥 and her recognition comes soon after BTV鈥檚 Lukasz Garbowski was named as听a GCV rising star of 2022.
听
GCV compiles its annual 鈥減owerlist鈥 from more than 6,000 global corporations investing either directly or indirectly in start-ups. Lisa鈥檚听听places BTV in the top 1% of corporate venture funds worldwide and ahead of industry competitors.
Lisa said: 鈥淎wards like this are for the whole BTV team and show the great strides we鈥檝e made since making our first investment in 2020.

In less than two years, the BTV team has completed听18 investments across the globe, as well as completing its first two successful 鈥榚xits鈥 (selling the investee company shares to a new acquirer). In both cases, BTV delivered both a strategic and a financial return, which acts as a great indicator to attract other top entrepreneurs.

In 2021, 糖心探花launched an industry-first start-up accelerator programme in partnership with BTV. The programme focuses on identifying start-ups and disruptive entrepreneurs to collaborate with on new technologies and innovative solutions to address common sustainability challenges.
